The Cannes Lions festival is the biggest annual awards event for marketing and Advertising professionals. Brighton agency Makemedia hired me to work with their client to re-design their subscription service: The Cannes Lions Archive - the festival's main digital product.
Another project with Clearleft. The brief was a responsive redesign of their website, primarily focusing on the building planning department but also to create a new architecture that they could use for all of their online service information.
Working with Clearleft, in this small project I took the role of visual designer to refresh the Age UK homepage and suggest some simple improvements to content pages that could be implemented quickly and easily without the need to a major infrastructure overhaul.
This was just a fun holding page to generate interest in the upcoming 2013 conferences
in New York and Brighton.
I created an modern and elegant visual palette that was then used across the full website
and the conference programme. The page was highly responsive and optimised for devices of
all shapes and sizes.
The people at FontForge commissioned me to redesign the website for the popular open source font editor.
I created a new look for the brand with a bright, young and playful feel that better represented the FontForge community. I took this design from sketches to produce an HTML style guide and front-end components for the engineers to use to build the final site.
