Widget, gadgets, snippets? Whatever you call them they are items that you can add to your webpage or blog to make it more interesting and stand out from the crowd. Here are 10 good examples.

  1. Mailing list form
    Allow customers to submit their email address to you for marketing purposes.
  2. Google map
    Show your location in a style most people are familiar with
  3. Calendar
    Show a interactive calender to give your users perspective on events related to your business.
  4. Poll
    A form that lets your users vote on a given subject and see the overall result afterwards

    Display the news headlines for the industry you're involved in.
